ABOUT

Eridan is a multidisciplinary collaborative duo composed of Brooklyn-based artists Eri King and Daniel Greer. In 2015 they became a collaborative duo exploring everyday objects and collaboration directly through various modes of making such as drawing, painting, sculpture, textiles, installation, sound, performance, and video.

In 2016 they exhibited their first solo show at Miranda Kuo Gallery, New York. The following year, they traveled to Japan for an artist residency at Shiro Oni Studio, Gunma Prefecture, Japan. In 2018 they curated a collaborative group exhibition, Pardon Our Appearance, at As of Now Gallery, Brooklyn, NY. Throughout 2019 they played live improvisational electronic music in various NYC venues and began collaborating with musicians to create visuals for their live sets. In 2020 they collaborated with NYC-based experimental composer, Daniel McKemie, to release improvised electronic music recordings under the moniker, Research. Over the past year, they have worked with Financial Times to provide concepts and artwork for their Global Boardroom Conference.

On August 5th, 2021, their solo-exhibition entitled Free* opened at The Catskills Gallery, NYC and will be on view through August 21st, 2021.

Eri and Daniel currently live and work in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
